The Trützschler Foundation was born with a commitment to social engagement: The family-owned company, which is already in its fifth generation, has been supporting charitable projects since it was founded in 1888 by Paul Heinrich Trützschler. The topic of training is also an important part of the company: At today's main plant in Mönchengladbach, Trützschler has been accompanying young people on their way to their first vocational qualification for more than 70 years.

With the establishment of the Trützschler Foundation in 2021, Trützschler wants to underline its social responsibility by accompanying children, adolescents and young adults on their way into the future and supporting them to take a responsible place in society.

As a member of the Trützschler family of entrepreneurs, I have a social responsibility that I would like to live up to with my voluntary work. It is personally rewarding to be able to give something back and incredibly motivating to feel the direct impact of our work.

Supporting children, teenagers, and young adults in the areas of learning and education, sports and physical activity, as well as science and research – and thereby opening up opportunities and guidance for a self determined and promising future – is a wonderful mission. As the Chair of the Trützschler Foundation’s Board of Trustees, it is a matter close to my heart to contribute to this purpose.
